Food Services

The District would like to welcome all students, staff, and families to the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. In partnership with the Nutrition Group and through offering a variety of healthy, appetizing choices, it is our hope to encourage and instill healthy habits for all.

In order to access your student’s lunch account, you will need to click on the "LunchTime School Payment Portal" link below. You will need to click on the Parent Login button under the Parents section of the page.  Use the email address that is on file with the school district and whatever password you used to access the Sapphire Parent Portal. If you have forgotten that password, enter your email address on the Parent Portal Sign In page and then click on the "Forgot Pwd" button.

To create a new account, select the Create Account button, fill out the requested information, and then click “Create Account”.

If you are still having trouble accessing the LunchTime School Payment Portal, please contact the district at 717-567-3806.

2024 Food Services Update:

Newport School District is pleased to announce that all students will receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2024-2025 School Year. All enrolled students of Newport School District are eligible to receive a complete reimbursable breakfast and lunch each school day at NO CHARGE to your household. A qualified reimbursable meal requires students to select 3 of 5 eligible meal components. One selection must be either a fruit or vegetable.

Snacks and other food items (i.e. extra meals) are not covered by this program and there will be a charge for these selections. This is made possible due to the District’s eligibility to utilize the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which is available to school districts that are participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. This program is dependent on participation. Please encourage your children to eat breakfast and lunch with us. We look forward to feeding your child.
