Alternative Education

The Newport School District works under the Pennsylvania Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) program guidelines and policies to provide a combination of academic and behavioral supports and counseling in an alternative setting with the goal of returning students to the regular classroom as soon as appropriate.

The Newport School District partners with River Rock Academy to provide AEDY programs and services.
